Michelle Flores

Michelle Flores is the Development Director at Brandworkers a worker center based in Long Island City where food factory workers organize for dignified jobs and a just food system. She has also expressed solidarity through union campaign research, action planning, communications, and facilitation. Michelle is a Sterling Network Fellow.

Chitra Aiyar is Executive Director of Sadie Nash Leadership Project a feminist social justice youth leadership program for young women and gender-expansive youth of color in NYC and Newark, New Jersey. She previously worked as Senior Staff Attorney at African Services Committee and the Workers’ Rights Fellow at the Brennan Center for Justice. Chitra lives in Brooklyn with her partner, two children, and mother-in-law.

Victor Narro is Project Director for the UCLA Labor Center, where he provides leadership programs for Los Angeles’ immigrant workers, legal and policy campaign planning for unions and worker centers, and internship opportunities for students. Victor is Core Faculty for the UCLA Labor Studies Program and the Public Interest Law and Policy Program at UCLA Law School.


Michelle Chen is a contributing editor at Dissent Magazine, and a contributing writer at The Nation, In These Times and Truthout. She is also a co-producer of the “Asia Pacific Forum” podcast and Dissent Magazine’s “Belabored” podcast, and teaches history at the City University of New York.
