Practicing What You Preach: Faith, Law and Justice

In our most recent Titter chat, Victor Narro, Project Director of UCLA Labor Center, and Margari Hill of Muslim Anti-Racism Collaborative led a discussion on the role of faith to social justice work.

The group agreed that the occasion of Pope Francis’ visit to United States, Muslim religious holiday Eid-ul-Adha, and Fall Equinox of reflection and renewal presents a collective moment to explore how our respective faiths can be used towards advancing social justice. It is also a moment to reflect on how our faiths have also been used as an obstacle for equality.

Feel free to add your thoughts on the topic at #FaithJustice and join us next time as we continue to explore the links between faith, law and justice.
